Speech Therapy for Apraxia – Words is a practical and efficient resource designed for:
- Children diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech/dyspraxia
- Adults dealing with apraxia

- Additionally, it can assist with traditional articulation exercises
Developed by the team at the National Association for Child Development, which includes a certified speech-language pathologist, this application focuses on articulation practice at the word level. It serves as a logical continuation of the original syllable-based app, Speech Therapy for Apraxia. This updated version offers various articulation patterns within words and progresses through different levels to challenge speech motor planning. It initiates with single words featuring simpler articulation patterns and advances to more complex production sequences, including sequences of random words.

- Option to select from 9 distinct word groups for targeting practice
- Categorization of words based on the place and pattern of articulation within the word
- For each group, the choice to select the desired practice level
- Detailed instructions on selecting an appropriate word group and practice level
- An organized progression of 8 levels to enhance speech motor planning
- Accompanying illustrations and audio for each word
- Capability to repeat levels, reset progress, or proceed to the next level
